Subject: We Keep Us Safe Campaign: Call to Action! Email your MEPs!
Dear all,
It’s the *last week before the European Parliament will vote on the
‘Returns’ (Deportation) Regulation*, which will bring ICE-style deportation
raids, detention and third-country return hubs to migrants in Europe.
*Members of the European Parliament are hoping this regulation will slip
through with little public attention. *
However, 100,000 people across Europe have signed a petition
calling for its rejection, combined with hundreds of protesters taking to
the streets outside European Parliament last week.
*We must keep up the pressure. *
*Will you email your MEP asking them to vote in rejection of the
regulation? *
We are specifically looking to pressure Socialist & Democrat, Renew and
European People’s Party MEPs.
