Dear friends, partners, and colleagues,
*UNITED has released its annual update of the ‘UNITED List of Refugee
Deaths?. *
The fully updated list contains data on*60,620 migrant and refugee
deaths* attributed to the Fatal Policies of Fortress Europe. Tens of
thousands more are never found…

For actions, researchers, and media, a more detailed list in xls format
is available on request.
This release is dedicated to 20 June 2024 World Refugee Day and
summarises information on where, when, and under which circumstances
migrants have died. Throughout Europe this week, actions and protests
based on our UNITED List of Refugee Deaths will take place, including
public readings of the list.
We invite all individuals, organisations, artists, and churches to
campaign with us and to use our material to advocate for refugees?
rights and policy change across Europe.
How can you support the campaign:
Last October, we began bi-weekly postings on our Instagram
@unitedlistofdeath https://www.instagram.com/unitedlistofdeath/. We
primarily highlight past and upcoming actions where artists or activists
have used the UNITED List of Refugee Deaths. Please follow us to expand
our reach and inspire future actions with our list.
